WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
CSE ICON is seeking an experienced technical project manager to take a customer-focused approach in working with our customers on Operational Technology (OT) projects involving enterprise SCADA and real-time data systems. Ideal candidates are familiar with these technologies, the typical types of projects involving these technologies including design, implementation, and support, and managing $100k+ projects involving multiple vendors and interdependent workstreams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with internal sales team to understand project requirements
- Serve as principal point of contact for customer
- Build a project plan that sequences tasks and assign responsibilities to resources
- Draft meeting content
- Perform risk assessment
- Produce and organize project documentation in accordance with project guidelines
- Schedule and run meetings (internal and external)
- Track project progress
- Communicate (internally and externally) (e.g., budget and progress updates including any risks and roadblocks)
- Draft and send meeting summaries to stakeholders
- Onboard and offboard team members to the project
- Motivate team members and stakeholders
- Manage change and schedule
- Minimize duplicate work
- Control costs and maintain budgets
- Solicit feedback
- Review and approve time cards, expenses, PTO requests, and invoices
- Work with administrative staff to invoice in accordance with milestones
- Look for ways to improve internal processes
- Help identify new opportunities within existing customers
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical discipline such as Engineering
- 5+ years of technical project management experience including $100k+ projects
- Experienced with using common project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) to generate and manage project schedules
- Able to calmly respond to unexpected project changes
- Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Familiar with enterprise SCADA and/or real-time data system concepts
- Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office
- Ability to travel, as required
ADDITIONAL FAVORABLE TRAITS AND EXPERIENCES
- Formal project management training and/or certification (e.g., PMP)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise SCADA and/or real-time data systems (e.g., AVEVA Wonderware, Inductive Automation Ignition, AVEVA PI, etc.)
